Cub Scouts Pinewood Derby – March 30

The annual Cub Scout Pinewood Derby is Wednesday, March 30th – 6:30 pm at the Lowell Grange, 51 East 2nd Street, Lowell.

Doors open at 6 pm for Derby weigh-ins.

Right now the Cub Scouts are crafting blocks of wood into high performance racing machines. In past years we’ve seen wildly creative designs ranging from tanks to transformers.  Come out and see who takes the top prize for speed and vote on your favorite designs!

Spring Book Sale – Lowell Library – March 28-30

The Lowell Community Library will be hosting a spring book sale from March 28-30 inside Lowell City Hall. Hundreds of books from all genres will be available, along with VHS tapes and magazines and bargain prices.

All proceeds are used to support and enhance programing at the Lowell Community Library. If you would like more information, please contact the Library at 541-937-2157.

Veterans Breakfast/Dental Services – March 26

Veterans Free Breakfast and Dental Care                                                Saturday, March 26th, 8 am.

Free Dental Services 9 am-1 pm at the Fall Creek Event Center            39898 Church Road, Fall Creek.

All Veterans and their families will be served breakfast. Veterans without dental insurance or coverage through the VA are eligible for free dental services. Please bring proof of service in the U.S. Military.

The first 25 Veterans will be served and others will be scheduled for future clinics based on first come first serve.

“Fables with Mr. Ben” – March 23

You won’t want to miss the amazing “Fables with Mr. Ben”Wednesday, March 23, 3:30 to 4:15 PM.  Enjoyed by children, parents and adults of all ages.

“Mr. Ben” will be at the Lowell Library, 107 E. 3rd Street in City Hall every fourth Wednesday of the month. Everyone is welcome!

Easter Egg Hunt at the Lowell Grange – March 26

Join us for the 3rd annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Lowell Grange – March 26 at 10 am.

Easter Egg

We invite children ages 13 to toddlers. We ask the children to bring their Easter Basket to use when collecting eggs.

Coloring Contest: Teachers will hand out pages to color, or you may find copies at City Hall. The colored pages need to be turned into your teacher, or City Hall by March 17th for a chance to win a prize. Winners will be announced on arrival at the Easter Egg Hunt.
