Back to School Night – Tuesday, September 6

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT – Open House and Barbeque – Tuesday, September 6th

Parents, students and community members are invited to the Open House and Barbeque

5:30 pm – Community dinner

6:15 pm –  Remarks and Program

7 to 8 pm – Lundy and Lowell High School open house tours

Volleyball and Football scrimmages after the program.

Dinner proceeds support a newly re-energized Parent Teacher Organization – extra donations are appreciated!

Lowell Music Hosts Annual Dinner Concert – May 22, 2016

Lowell Music hosts the Annual Dinner on the evening of Sunday, May 22. Please join the award winning Lowell Music Band and Choir concert for an evening of fine dining and entertainment. This special fundraising event will feature a dinner  sure to satisfy. With full table service and entertainment provided by the Lowell Concert Choir, Concert Band, the event is the “can’t miss” evening.

Festivities begin at  6 p.m. in the Lowell High School Gymnasium.

Tickets are $15, available from Lowell Music students or by contacting the LHS office directly at 541-937-2124. RSVP required. All proceeds will go to support the LHS Band and Choir tour to Seattle and Victoria, B.C. in June.

Lowell High School Band State Finals – May 13, 2016

The Lowell Music program has been enjoying another successful spring. In March, the High School Band competed against many schools of all sizes, earning  the highest state-qualifying scores for public schools for all divisions.

On May 13th, they will compete for a championship at the OSAA Band State Finals at Oregon State University.

Lowell High School Choir – May 5, 2016

In April, the High School Choir competed against many schools of all sizes. At the OMEA District 12 Choir festival on April 5th, they again earned the highest state-qualifying scores for public schools for all divisions. This was followed with a solid performance at the Metropolitan Choral Festival at the Hult Center on April 19th.

This group will compete at the OSAA Choir State Finals on May 5th at George Fox University.

Lowell Junior/Senior High School is ranked 19th within Oregon. Students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement® coursework and exams. The AP® participation rate at Lowell Junior/Senior High School is 76 percent. The student body makeup is 59 percent male and 41 percent female, and the total minority enrollment is 20 percent. Lowell Junior/Senior High School is the only high school in the Lowell SD 71.
