The Community Forum on Emergency Preparedness will be held on Tuesday October 27, 2015 at 7 PM in the Pleasant Hill Community Center just off Highway 58. Snacks will be provided by Riverbend Farm and Dexter Farmers Market.
You will learn a lot about about getting our families and communities safely through all kinds of emergency situations, including a possible giant earthquake on the west coast, at an October public forum on emergency preparedness in Pleasant Hill.
Oregon doesn’t have the history of earthquakes like California and Washington. Our state is in the process of catching up to our neighbors in earthquake preparedness planning. Wildfires, floods and severe weather also have their risks to get ready for.
On October 27, join three Lane County experts in emergency preparedness to discuss preparations, hear an overview of our state of readiness, and find out about ways to know what to do and how to do it when disaster strikes.
