Safety of our Dams

The Army Corps of Engineers has been reviewing the safety of our dams on the Middle Fork Willamette, and will be presenting their conclusions to the public on May 10 at 7 PM at the Trent Church of Christ, 38029 Wheeler Road in Dexter, 1/4 mile west of Elijah Bristow Park. Turn onto Wheeler Road at the Chevron Station on Highway 58 and continue past the park and the old Trent School to Trent Church of Christ.
The Corps will also have flood maps of our area on display in the foyer of the sanctuary. Presented by Willamette Cascades Foothills Collaborative.

Aerial Spraying in Lane County

ForestWeb of Cottage Grove will be showing two free films about the hazards of aerial spraying in Pleasant Hill May 2 at 7 PM Monday night at the Pleasant Hill School site near Highway 58. A discussion of the campaign to pass a measure for the Right to Freedom From Aerial Spraying in Lane County will follow.
